november 24, 2019

Ten reincorporation and reintegration projects will offer their products at the social startup fair to be held on December 14 and 15 at the main square of the Usaquén Plaza / Boho Market shopping center.

Bogotá, November 24, 2019. Compaz Foundation, together with the United Nations Verification Mission, the Agency for Reincorporation and Normalization – ARN and the Bogotá Hub of Global Shapers, will support ten start-ups of former combatants so they can participate in the third edition of the social startup Fair ImpactCo, organized by Quántica Education.

Three years after the signing of the Final Peace Agreement, these projects will come to Bogotá to show that peace and reconciliation are indeed possible. This will be an opportunity to reiterate the commitment of the former combatants to build peace and their will to be agents of change.

Initiatives such as Confecciones La Montaña, Cerveza La Roja, Manifiesta y TejPaz, Cerveza La Trocha, Café Espíritu de Paz, Mites Artesanías, Café El Tercer Acuerdo, Inzunai and Caguán Expeditions will be joining more than 40 start-ups with social impact participating at the ImpactCo Fair, on December 14 and 15, from 9 am to 8 pm, at the main square of the Usaquén Plaza / Boho Market.

Supporting products #FromHandThatBuildPeace will not only be a message of hope for thousands of former combatants who have embraced the peace process, but will also assure that Colombia is now a new country, one that persists in the search for peace and reconciliation.
